The Heavy – “Sixteen”

9 Feb 2010 by Kat, Comments Off

It’s officially a Hipster Snow Dance Party here at Mid-Splend, since we’re legitimately snowed in. I mean, hipster new wave-disco-synth jams are all the rage -  and what else are you going to do, anyway?

I have already highlighted The Heavy as a band to watch, but it seems noteworthy to stream some of their new album again, in light of their recent success on Letterman and the inclusion of “How You Like Me Now?” in the Kia Sorrento Super Bowl ad.

Included are both “How You Like Me Now” and “Sixteen,” two selections from the very enjoyable album The House That Dirt Built. Check it!
